Nashwa Massage
Your masseuse
Familiar with massage since my childhood, as it was widely practiced in my family, I also adopted it as an adult, offering it to the family and friends in my life.
My rich and varied professional experience was always related to people: teaching adults at university, primary school children in a Montessori school, humanitarian work with the ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross) and experience as a life and career coach. Along the way, I was confronted with the wonderful adventure of human relationships.
Various training courses in NVC® (Non-Violent Communication or Authentic Communication), psychology (different modules), life coaching and aromatherapy have completed this career path.
Finally, I decided to take a different path and turn my passion for wellness massage into a real new professional life.
My training includes various techniques: Swedish (energizing), Californian (enveloping), Ayurvedic (balancing), Hawaiian or Lomi-Lomi (muscle relaxation and blood circulation) and Zenith (head, hands and feet dressing).
Currently working part-time as a massage therapist in a renowned spa in Geneva, I devote the rest of my time to my private clients, to whom I offer a personalized service. Combining the human, the body and the emotions is one of my priorities.
My relaxation services
There are many ways to take care of yourself: physical activity, healthy eating, meditation, taking time out, planning a vacation, etc. But you can also treat yourself to a massage on a regular or occasional basis.
My practice is based on proven and recognized techniques.
Swedish
Swedish massage is designed to relax the muscles not only of athletes, but also of modern sedentary people whose bodies suffer as a result of non-adapted postures. It is based on a wide range of techniques (kneading, various types of pressure and friction, palpate-roll, percussion, etc.) for people seeking deep muscle relaxation and relief from pain.
The Californian
The aim of Californian massage is deep relaxation. It is based on a slow, close-to-the-body touch that helps you become aware of your own body envelope. It facilitates letting go and provides unrivalled physical and mental relaxation. It helps you stay in the “here and now”.
Ayurvedic
According to Ayurvedic philosophy, harmony for the human being lies in the balance between body, mind and soul. Prevention is more important than cure in the aforementioned philosophy.
Ayurvedic abhyanga massage therefore strives to connect these three elements, bringing about nervous and physical relaxation, improving digestion and reducing muscular pain.
Hawaiian or Lomi-lomi
Based, like Ayurveda, on ancestral practices and knowledge, it is based on the idea that the ills of the body reflect the ills of the mind. Freeing the body’s knots would help free those of the mind. In particular, he advocates the Aloha principle of respect, care and love.
Lomi-lomi is very enveloping and will help to relax body and mind, eliminate toxins and tensions, regain energy and feel inner peace.
Le Zénith
It is inspired by several techniques (ayurveda, traditional Chinese medicine, reflex points, etc.). It is performed on clothed people and focuses on the feet, hands and head. It aims to harmonize the body and mind and make you feel connected.
All these techniques will be present in my practice, which will always be personalized, and I will draw inspiration from them to offer you a unique moment, corresponding to your needs. It’s also possible to ask for just one or the other.
